After your package is selected and your date is saved on our calendar, we’ll start planning! Share your vision through a mood board or just share a few images that speak to you . Not sure what you’re looking for? That’s okay! We love to collaborate with you, so we’ll work on creating the perfect photo spread together. During this time, you’ll receive the Outfit Guide to help you get your wardrobe on point, and we’ll decide on the best location for your session with my Locations Guide.

Your session day arrives! Pamper yourself with hair and makeup, slip on that amazing outfit, and meet us either in-studio or on-location. Get ready to pose, laugh, and have a fun day in front of the camera. We’ll be there to support you every step of the way.

Following your photo session, we’ll be hard at work editing your photos to prepare for your final image delivery. For full-length sessions, your gallery will be delivered within 6 weeks. If you’ve opted for a mini session, galleries will be delivered within 2 weeks.

We booked an engagement session with Rachel and each part of it far surpassed our expectations. Rachel is super professional as well as approachable and fun. Both of us were a bit nervous going into our session, neither of us having done a photography session before, and Rachel made us feel confident and at ease. The combination of polaroid, film, and digital pictures we got are unreal and each offers something unique to create the whole package. Frequently Asked Questions
When will I receive my images?
Session galleries will be delivered in 3-4 weeks after your session. You will receive an online gallery with your digital and film photos as well as Polaroid scans.

Do you have a studio?
We can rent from two beautiful studios in Baltimore or if you have a studio in mind, we'd love to create in new studios and locations!

How does payment work?
We require a 20% non-refundable retainer to secure your date. The rest of your payment is due 2 weeks before your session. Please review the cancellation and rescheduling policy on your contract.

Am I able to cancel and/or reschedule my session?
Retainers are non-refundable. If the weather is an issue for rescheduling, that's not a problem, but some of the most magical sessions were in windy or snowy weather. There is a $100 rescheduling fee if you let us know a week before your session. If you need to cancel within the week, your deposit is forfeited, and a new deposit will need to be made to book again.

Can you help me choose my outfits?
We’ve got you covered! We’ll send you the Outfit Guide prior to your session! You can also send me pictures of your options, and we’ll give our opinions. We can also create a Pinterest board for inspo!

When do you offer mini sessions?
Yes, we offer mini sessions in my Baltimore studio a few times a year, depending on our schedule. To keep an eye on mini session announcements, follow us on Instagram @rachelvkingphotography and sign up for my newsletter to be the first to know!

Can I print my images with you?
Yes! You can order prints, albums, and more through your personal gallery for 1 year. For albums, we will help you create the perfect layout for your memories. We can send you a sample gallery to get an idea of what you will receive! You also receive printing rights as the client. This means that you'll receive high-resolution downloads to print with me or anyone else.
