Andrea and Brandon are one of the sweetest couples I’ve had the pleasure of documenting. They had the most beautiful, intimate elopement with their closest family and friends during the Covid-19 pandemic. I photographed Andrea and her bridal party getting ready at her childhood home. After a sweet first look with her dad (we love when dads tear up), we were off to Cylburn Arboretum, my favorite mansion and park in Baltimore. Just being on the grounds of Cylburn was an escape to another era, with paths of flowers and guarded by lion stone statues (fun fact: their newlywed last name is Lyons!)
The beautiful October ceremony took place outside of the mansion. The ceremony was filled with smiles and love, for and from the couple! Because of covid, Andrea and Brandon opted for their first dance, al fresco, on the cobblestone path with the city’s mansion in the background.
Documenting Andrea and Brandon, you could feel their excitement and joy when they were together. They couldn’t stop smiling when they looked at each other, which kept me smiling behind the camera.
