Something that absolutely fills every part of my heart is photographing my family and friends. I love every single one of my clients, but taking part in the joy of the day with people I know is something a little extra special.

This chic af, Florida wedding was definitely one for the books! I knew Caro from college, so when she asked me to photograph her wedding, I was so excited! Something you should know is that the bride, Caro, is an aesthetic artist. She planned the entire wedding, from the dried floral bouquets to the Harry Potter seating chart (definitely got us pumped for Harry Potter World). The vibe was impeccable, surrounded by a beautiful pool and palm trees, everything you’d want in a tropical backyard wedding.

The day started with Caro and Collin getting ready in separate parts of the house with their bridal parties. Before their ceremony, they had, hands down, one of the most emotional and beautiful first looks I have had the honor to document. The moment Collin turned around, they both started crying and embracing. To make it an even more emotional moment, Collin’s gift was a painting of the bridge in Amsterdam that we proposed to Caro on. After a little make-up touch up, they had their beautiful ceremony at twilight under the palm trees. The beautiful triangle arch in the front yard, pink sky, and tiny bright moon in the sky created such a beautiful and intimate experience for everyone involved.

The night turned into heart warming toasts, amazing paella and grilled meats, dancing and tequila shots. You can just feel when a couple and their family and friends emanate warmth and love. Caro and Collin are an example of how we can all embrace life and people…and throw a kick ass party.
