I had the absolute pleasure of photographing Audrey and Christian’s wedding at Lansdowne Resort in Leesburg, Virginia, and let me tell you, it was nothing short of magical. The venue is a dream, with its stunning views and landscapes that seem as if they were painted just for this occasion. The pink flowered tree gave shade during their ceremony and we finished their evening portraits on the golf course just before a storm rolled in, giving us the most beautiful cotton candy and purple skies. As a film photographer, I get so excited with a unique sunset because the colors come out so out of this world!

Their Day

The day kicked off with a ton of excitement in the air, everyone buzzing around getting ready. It was all about the details, from the delicate flowers to the carefully chosen outfits. Everyone looked absolutely stunning, especially Audrey, who was glowing in her dress, capturing everyone’s attention as she walked down the aisle. Christian and his groomsmen weren’t far behind in the style department, looking amazing and bringing some suave vibes to the day!

The ceremony was held outdoors under a natural canopy of trees, creating an intimate and enchanting atmosphere. The backdrop could have been straight out of a fairy tale. There were smiles all around, a few happy tears that were heartfelt, and an overwhelming sense of love that seemed to wrap around everyone present.

The Evening

After the ceremony, the celebration continued indoors, where everything was set up to perfection. The tables were lined with elegant decor, reflecting the couple’s taste and style beautifully! The cake was a masterpiece in itself, and capturing the moment Audrey and Christian cut into it was pure joy.

We then sneaked out for some couple shots as the sun began to set, painting the sky with hues of orange and pink. Those moments captured their love and it was so delightful to witness. It was a privilege to photograph such raw and tender moments between the newlyweds as they enjoyed each other’s company.

The night wrapped up with dancing, laughter, and everyone coming together to celebrate this beautiful union. Seeing everyone having such a great time was the icing on the cake. I couldn’t have asked for a better day or a more wonderful couple to photograph. Cheers to Audrey and Christian, wishing you both a lifetime filled with joy and love.
